- Oh, nothing much. Smoke, fire, blown fuses, corrupted data. Little stuff
- like that.

- Assuming the question was really serious, the damage is usually done by
- shorting power (+5V, +-12V) pins to ground and/or signal pins. This lets
- the smoke out of the chips, and since all modern electronics run on
- smoke, they stop running when the smoke is let out.
