- Not true. There are some cheaper mid-sized drives available for IDE, bu
- they're cheap drives. Where the *same* drive is available on SCSI and IDE
- versions the price difference is negligable. Quantum drives cost the same
- for either. I've wasted my share of money on cheap drives, and on a $4000
- machine I'm damned if I can see why saving $25 to $50 by crippling the hard
- drive subsystem is such a great deal.
