- I won't cry a single tear if I won't be able to plug the new AA Chips onto
- the motherboard of my A3000, _IF_ Commodore finally provides OS-support for
- DIG/RTG/CallItWhatYouWant.
-
- I'd be happy with a nice Zorro-III video card (doesn't my Computer have a
- Video slot, btw?), and it does not necessarily need to be made by Commodore,
- as long as the OS fully supports it.
-
- It would be a nice thing, btw, if video cards would be detected by the system
- early after boot up, so that one can leave the monitor plugged into the video
- card. The PC I am working at has a TIGA card connected to a normal VGA card,
- and the video signal of the VGA card is put through to the TIGA card so that
- I don't need to change the monitor cable when I am switching between DOS and
- Windows (which supports the TIGA card).
- Maybe AUTOCONFIG (TM) could be extended to support display drivers on board
- of video cards (EPROMs), so that you simply plug in the card and play, or
- whatever you want to do with it :)
- Something like that would be most comfortable, IMO.
