  25.   I seem to have missed the original post so I'll comment this...

  27.   I am aware that I have really tried some people's patience by not being
  28. able to get the registered copies out of the door in time. Some users have
  29. been waiting for quite some time. I have delivered to at least 60% of all
  30. who have registered to date and I'm working on the rest (I just shipped a 
  31. bunch of LhA V1.40's this morning). All who registered will receive their
  32. copy. I guarantee that. If anyone would prefer to get their keyfile via
  33. EMail + FTP instead of via SnailMail just mail me an EMail with 
  34. `KEYFILE-REQUEST' in the subject line, and I will mail it to you ASAP.

  36.   It would seem like mailing a couple of disks to a bunch of people is
  37. a simple task - and it sure is simple, but also quite time-consuming since
  38. I have to write everything by hand. Another reason for holding back is
  39. that I'd like to think I ship a bug-free product. Sometimes a bug appeared
  40. just before mailing 50 copies of that version and I had to copy the disks
  41. again, and rip up all envelopes, replace the disk and seal it again.

  43.   The situation will be better as soon as I get the registration sites in
  44. Germany, USA and Australia up and running when LhA V2.00 is released. Then
  45. I can concentrate on developing instead of organizing.

  47.   Regarding EMail - I try to answer all mail I get but sometimes my replies
  48. just bounce, and that is just what happened to the responses I've tried to 
  49. write to Andreas Otte (who complained above). It has happened for some other 
  50. persons as well. I generally answer EMail as quick as I possibly can, but
  51. sometimes I get far too much mail to be able to reply to all of them in
  52. reasonable time (I -do- have other things to do).

  54.   Have patience. And if EMails don't seem to get through to me, try writing
  55. me an ordinary Snail-letter.
