  15.     I would wait a little, simply because NEW machine are JUST around
  16. the corner, in fact they will be announced tomorrow. I have *just*
  17. received mail from someone who has had wind on an A2200 model, successor
  18. to the 2000 you liked so much. I would hang fast and go with one of the new
  19. machines, the A500 and A2000 motherboards are now old hat!

  21.     I have recently upgraded from A500 to A500Plus to get 2.04/2mb as an
  22. interim move until I can afford one of the new things...

  24.     If you buy a PC, you get a PC! Standard stuff, yes. Cutting edge
  25. technology, no. A PC always seems to be a non-WIMP machine struggling to
  26. be one - even a 386 is SLOW at 256 colours and Windows. I really believe
  27. you would get more FUN out of an Amiga than any PC, but to avoid getting
  28. the "old" hardware out of wanting to rush it!

  30.     Even give it, say, just 2 weeks, and details of new and (hopefully)
  31. wondrous Amiga things will abound...
