  38.  This is all the result of an odd address being returned by Intuition,
  39. and a stupid program assuming that address is a legal pointer.
  40.  
  41.  It causes an exception on the 68000, not on the 68030.  It's also 
  42. somewhat random, cause Intuition might actually return something that
  43. the 68000 considers valid.

  45.  This was all discussed over the summer in somewhat gruesome detail, and
  46. I believe it was decided that this is a feature of AmigaDOS 2.04 that
  47. will help force software developers to write decent code once they find
  48. all of their 500/2000 owning users start complaining about random crashes.

  50.  There have been rumors of a new Setpatch from CBM that will help relieve
  51. many of these problems.  It is supposedly in v2.05 and v2.1 of AmigaDOS,
  52. but I'm not aware that it's been released to dealers yet.
