- Well why not? I should certainly think that a 16 Mhz 68030 based A3000
- should outperform a 25 Mhz 68030(or even 40 Mhz) stuck inside an A500.
-
- Right now if you want a harddrive you need to buy a SCSI controller and
- case. How many people are going to upgrade the processor in their little
- A600, if it were available? How many have done it in the A500?
- I'm guessing less than 1% of the owners. Sound accurate?
-
-
- What I'm saying here is that the A600 provides the kind of expansion that
- people buying are going to need. And I'm getting sick of people putting
- down a machine because it doesn't come with 24 bit graphics, 16 bit sound,
- 200 megs of harddrive space and 25 MIPS of processing power.
-
- The A600 is what Commodore is, and is the only thing Commodore know's how
- to sell. A cheap home computer that plugs into your TV and plays games.
