- Hmmm...ToolsDaemon2.0b has given me nothing but grief--to the point of
- which I don't even use it anymore!

- When I had it running (even with NO custom tools items albeit
- toolsprefs...) it seemed to slow down the whole system. The most
- noticeable effect was when I attempted to drag windows or icons; there
- would be a momentary delay and then they would snap into place !! I
- think I may go back to the old ToolsDaemon or ToolManager.
