- It's time for my half pence worth now..
- I don't think A3000 owners need worry.
- One or two A2000 owners have written in,however,complaining that the run the
- AA Chip Set(a 32bit set) they will need to upgrade their processors to
- 020/030/040s.
- Putting it simply,you wouldn't WANT to run the AA Chip set on a 7Mhz 68000.
- When you've got 800*960 Pixels to manipulate on an 8Bit-plane basis you'd be
- waiting all day for the chip to load an IFF image never mind do anything
- interesting.
- It is worth noting on the general note of whether these chips will filter down
- to the A500/A2000 Bracket that although neither of the machines have 32bit
- architecture,BOTH can quite happily run a 68040 and 32Bit ram thanks to
- third party upgrades.
- If necessary GVP can build the 32Bit AA chip set into their A530 Combo :-)
