  14. I recently got Spice from the fish disks... I got the newest version, which
  15. was compiled from C source code instead of Fortran.  The problem is, every time
  16. I try to run it, (bspice, to be specific), it generally gets as far as
  17. printing File: <whatever>, and promptly GURUs.  I've tried breaking my
  18. startup sequence (to patches, no DMouse, etc., etc.) and running it (after
  19. assigning SPICE3:), but that doesn't help.

  21. My setup is an Amiga 500 with 2mb RAM (on a BaseBoard), with a Xetec hard
  22. disk interface, running under WorkBench 1.3.

  24. Does anyone else have this problem, or know what is causing it?  Better yet,
  25. does anyone actually have it working on a similar setup?  Please let me know...
  26. my classes are going to start using it this coming week, and I'd much rather
  27. use Spice at home that having to run down to the University and run it on
  28. their Messy DOS machines!
