- If anyone out there is using Term2.3, I am wondering if you
- have had problems with it. My setup is 2000 (stock) 2.04, hd. There
- are two nasty bugs in it. One is the clipboard device. You cannot
- right click on the screen to cut or paste text or the program
- crashes spectacularly. Another is the VT100 emulation. All of the
- local BBS work fine, but when I call my server here to get to
- Internet I get lots of garbage. For example, when I type "clear
- screen" at the % prompt it doesn't clear it; I just get a burst of
- control characters. Does anyone know if I'm missing a parameter
- here, because the thing with the garbage makes going into elm or vi
- a total mess. I can't use them because the screen won't clear; it
- shows these command codes everywhere and I can't get rid of them--it
- effectively makes Term useless for posting/reading/ftping on the
- net. Term 2.2b worked real cool, much better than this NComm2.0 I'm
- using. When in 'vi' in ncomm hitting "dd" (delete entire line) while
- in command mode makes the terminal go nuts, but I gotta live with
- that for now, until Mr. Barthel fixes Term 2.3 (good looking program
- though). I'll even send him money.
