  10. Anyone out there know Jim Karkanias or deal with him in the past?  We
  11. started a transaction two weeks ago but he has disappeared on me.
  12. (no email responses for over one full week, no phone responses, etc)
  13. I'm beginning to suspect strange things are afoot...  But fortunately
  14. my bank has stopped payment on the check I mailed him, so even if he
  15. is plotting evildoings, I'm not going to lose my cash (phew!).  This is
  16. the first net transaction I've had trouble with, so any actions/recourse/
  17. etc you may have could also be of interest to me.
