- Survey says... bzzzzzt!
-
- Close though.
-
- There is a program available through FTP, as well as on Fred Fish's
- disk number 159, called TaskControl, which was written by J. Martin
- Hippele, which allows you to shut down tasks, visible or non.
-
- Granted, this is not an AmigaDOS command, so I apologize for coming
- across roughly there, Olaf... but I have used TaskControl rather
- successfully a number of times. As it sits, if you wish to get
- technical, there is not a line command to kill a task, but since
- TaskControl is an AmigaDOS _program_, I would guess it is close
- enough.
-
- Note: There is a more recent release of TaskControl available through
- FTP than the one on Fish Disk 159, but I am not sure of where it is
- posted. Any clarifications of this will likely be appreciated for the
- new user's sake! :-)
