- I've got a problem. I've got this 45MB removable cartridge hard drive
- that I'm trying to get to work with my A3000. I plug the SCSI cable
- into the back of the computer and the back of the drive. I turn on
- the drive. I turn on the computer. I start up HDToolbox, and
- partition the drive, then save the changes. I reboot, and AmidaDOS
- format the drive. So far, everything is going *great*. I rename it,
- the whole nine yards, and everything is fine. OK. Then, I try to
- copy some files onto the drive from my internal hard drive.
- Everything is fine, everything is going well, drives are spinning,
- lights are on, I have the little clock icon, and then...
-
- Nothing. The drives stop spinning. The lights stay on, but I can't
- do anything with the WorkBench, because I still have the clock icon.
- Esentially, it seems to be stuck. I've tried this on more than one
- cartridge, so I know that it's not the cartridge. I can't figure
- whether it's the SCSI port, or the cable, or the drive. Anyone have
- any idea how I can figure this out?
-
- HELP!!!
