- I intend to get an A4000 as soon as I can get ahold of one.
- And one product I would buy right away is a de-interlacer.
- Could someone from CATS possibly tell me how much a
- video Slot De-Interlacer for the A4000 would run, approx,
- if someone decided to design/build one.
- It would allow flicker free displays on all programs,
- in all modes, transparent of software, so you would save
- a lot of CHIP mem bandwidth by not having to use the
- Scan Doubled screen modes, which eat up 2X the regular
- non scan doubled modes bandwidth.
- It would also allow flicker free 1280X400, 800X600 etc
- modes, which cannot be scan doubled under AGA, due
- to the speed of the pixels in that mode.
- Also older programs and programs that boot from floppy
- would be forced into de-interlaced, smooth looking
- displays.
-
- Is a de-interlacer for the A4000 video slot feasible?
- if so would it be cost prohibitive?
