- Yup, zillions of SoundBlasters, 8-bit cards with one DMA channel and a mess of
- programmable envelope generators (ala the C64's SID chip). I don't know how
- many real 16-bit sound cards sell, but I wouldn't be suprised if, rounded to
- the nearest percentage point, it was 0% of the total of sound cards. Even
- the MPC only calls for 8-bit sound.
