  36. $3700 is cheap for an '040 machine!  Compare the price with a quadra 900 or an
  37. HP workstation.  Both have prices well over $7k, and at least in the case of
  38. the quadra, the Amiga will beat the pants off of it performance wise. 
  39. Secondly, the $3700 retail price  is much higher than the dealer quote I have,
  40. which is from Infotronics in Southbury, CT(it could be Woodbury, I'm not sure)
  41. which was $2995!  This is cheaper than the A3000/25 when it came out.  I
  42. believe the A4000 is not a high end Amiga, but the first midrange system in a
  43. series of AGA equipped systems, which will be both faster and slower than the
  44. A4000.
