- When I first got my Supra modem (v.32bis) I had the same problems trying
- to connect higher than 9.6. Connections to dual standards sometimes got
- me 12.0, sometimes got me 9.6, and sometimes got me 0. Connections to
- other Supra v.32bis modems was out -- 0 everytime (unless I did a
- ATN0S37=9 which shut off 12.0 and 14.4 :-(). I wound up calling Supra
- tech support (after 3 hours of busy signals), and the fellow tells me
- to try the command AT%G0&Q9S9=3. With this command in and cast in
- stone with a AT&W, the modem has performed as it should have from the
- start. Which is to say that connections to dual standards and other
- Supra V.32bis modems have gotten me 14.4 every time.
- I don't have the fax software, so living with the %G0 until the new
- ROM comes out is no sweat. Give it a shot :-) Hope this helps.
