  18. I went down to the local Amiga store and bought the Amiga Imagewriter II
  19. printer cable -- plugs right into your serial port on your Amiga and that
  20. round hole on the Imagewriter II.  (I later got myself a data switchbox
  21. since I used the modem a bunch too!)

  23. The Imagewriter dip switch setting are in the WB1.3 manual -- I set those
  24. (although they don't appear to make a difference.)  Use the appropriate
  25. driver from the Extras disk.  Then set preferences to use the appropriate
  26. driver -- dont forget to tell it it's a serial printer!

  28. Color graphics are flawless.  I got great output with Digi-Paint 3 and
  29. Photon Paint.  Deluxe Paint 3 gave the BEST results.  I could even
  30. print landscape orientations.

  32. The problem: it's a serial printer!  Can't print and do the modem thing
  33. simultaneously on my A500.  Know anybody that wants to buy an Imagewriter II?
