- I went down to the local Amiga store and bought the Amiga Imagewriter II
- printer cable -- plugs right into your serial port on your Amiga and that
- round hole on the Imagewriter II. (I later got myself a data switchbox
- since I used the modem a bunch too!)
-
- The Imagewriter dip switch setting are in the WB1.3 manual -- I set those
- (although they don't appear to make a difference.) Use the appropriate
- driver from the Extras disk. Then set preferences to use the appropriate
- driver -- dont forget to tell it it's a serial printer!
-
- Color graphics are flawless. I got great output with Digi-Paint 3 and
- Photon Paint. Deluxe Paint 3 gave the BEST results. I could even
- print landscape orientations.
-
- The problem: it's a serial printer! Can't print and do the modem thing
- simultaneously on my A500. Know anybody that wants to buy an Imagewriter II?
