  26. Yes, we can read 1.44M floppies, but at the normal slow speed.  As for the
  27. reading speed, in the current high density mode, the drive spins at half
  28. speed, reading the data at the same slow speed.  On normal HD drives, the
  29. speed stays the same and the data is read twice as fast.
