- Yes, we got the same thing. I have it here in front of me. There are a few
- additions and correctons I'd like to make.

-
- The '040 is not on the main mother board, it's on a "removable processor
- module." It's probably in the 200 pin CPU slot, but they did not say.
- Kinda like what DEC does with some of it's workstations. That means CBM can
- have a whole line of machines based on one mother board.

-
- The graphics are true 8bit (256 colors), but a new HAM mode gives you 256k
- colors.

-
- That should be CrossDOS.

-
- 3 Zorro slots are inline with the AT slots and the other is inline with a
- video slot. The slots are on a vertical daughter card (ala 3000)
-

-
- This is a dual speed drive capable of 880k/1.76MB. There are 2 rear and 2
- front 3.5" drive bays and 1 front 5.25" bay.

-
- The HAM modes now support 640x480. This gives you the 256,000 colors CBM
- is talking about. As far as Workbench or other productivity software is
- concerned you can only get 256 colors at 640x480.

-
- Thank God! DCTV is a great hack that is best suited to doing pseudo 24bit
- animations in real-time. It is not true 24bit and is not pixel accurate. I,
- and I'm sure many others, have no use for such a device. I'd be much happier
- with the new chipset.
