  16. All A3000s have the same RAMSEY, and the same RAMSEY bug.  This is a bug in
  17. page-detect mode (one of the modes that requires static column DRAM) which
  18. causes RAS precharge in conjunction with hard disk activity to sometimes last
  19. only 40ns, rather than the 80ns its supposed to last.  We found this bug
  20. quite late because the software people had already determined that page-detect
  21. mode didn't buy anything with the 68030 and AmigaOS (other CPU/OS combinations
  22. could find this more more useful).

  27. All A3000s will run faster with static-column DRAM using RAMSEY's other special
  28. mode, burst mode.  This has always worked.
