- Well, the 25 Mhz comes in both EC and regular versions. The 40 Mhz
- is the EC, and the 50 Mhz is the regular 68030. Just for information
- sake, the 40 Mhz EC version with 2 Mbs of memory and a 68882 is over
- 200 times faster than a stock system when floating point is involved.
- Another point about the VXL-30, Microbotics does use the rated chips
- for the accelerator, if you get a 50 Mhz VXL-30, you get a 50 Mhz 68030.
- The 32 bit memory does work with DMA(people have said that the MMR
- does not) and the 68000 can access it.
- My 40 Mhz VXL rates at 3.2 times an A3000-25 mhz.
