  12. Well, the 25 Mhz comes in both EC and regular versions.  The 40 Mhz
  13. is the EC, and the 50 Mhz is the regular 68030.  Just for information
  14. sake, the 40 Mhz EC version with 2 Mbs of memory and a 68882 is over
  15. 200 times faster than a stock system when floating point is involved.
  16. Another point about the VXL-30, Microbotics does use the rated chips
  17. for the accelerator, if you get a 50 Mhz VXL-30, you get a 50 Mhz 68030.
  18. The 32 bit memory does work with DMA(people have said that the MMR 
  19. does not) and the 68000 can access it.  
  20. My 40 Mhz VXL rates at 3.2 times an A3000-25 mhz.
