  13. I suspect this is a FAQ, but it hasn't come up in the last 800 or so posting
  14. (except one partial intersect sans followups) and I have not seen a FAQ in 
  15. net.answers.  Is there an Amiga FAQ somewhere?

  17. I have an Amiga A500.  It has run fairly happily for several years, except the
  18. power supply starting ringing a couple years ago.  It kept getting louder and 
  19. one day after I stepped away for a bit, I returned to find my Amiga dead 
  20. (no lights, etc).  Looked inside the power supply and saw a fuse was blown,
  21. so I tried replacing it.  It immediately blows when turned on, so I assume 
  22. the power supply is fried.

  24. I was about to order a Big Foot when I thought it might be a kinda amusing
  25. project to put one together from a PC power supply (remember reading several
  26. references to such).  Does anyone know of a source where I might be able
  27. to FTP instructions or of a periodical I could order with such an article?
  28. If this is an inadviseable project, then is a Big Foot a good replacement?
