  11.   I have a Supra 2400 baud modem with strange problems. Everything seems  
  12. ok until I try to dial, and then I get a no dialtone message...it doesn't  
  13. pick up the line. I have done the built-in tests but no error occurs on  
  14. them. All of the indicator lights on the front function properly (even  
  15. when I type the transmission light works). When I type ATA to answer, the  
  16. speaker does work and it makes the 'looking for a carrier' sound (although  
  17. I haven't found anyone to call me to see if it actually works). So anyone  
  18. got an idea what the deal is?? I assume it was hit by lightning but anyone  
  19. else's guess or idea of how to fix it would be appreciated...
