- Okay, I'm thoroughly confused here. I read some messages about SetCPU from
- dave, but I don't know what it is. Could someone please explain it to me?
-
- I noticed in another message daves explanation of RAMSEY and SCRAM and such,
- where he indicated the OS (2.04 I'm assuming) automatically detected SCRAM
- and used it, but in another message someone left a CPU command with options
- for cache and burst. Are these different utilities, and where can I get them.
- I've looked in the AmigaDOS 3rd edition for SetCPU and it wasn't in there.
-
- My real question is how can I get the best performance out of my 3000 if I'm
- using the startup-sequence the 2.04 installer installs and nothing else. I
- remember hearing about a way to copy the ROM to Fast-RAM, how do I do that?
-
- Thanks!
