- I've noticed the Amiga's graphics hardware can be programmed to
- use external sync pulses for vertical and horizontal synchronization.
-
- If I use an external video source and extract these pulses from
- it, what are the requirements, and in particular: Is it OK to
- use hsync _with_ equalization pulses? (I'm not sure how equ~
- pulses work in detail, so I can't be sure how they'll affect
- the computer chip.)
-
- I've also seen that certain sync separators provide vertical
- sync and composite sync as output, but there's no separate
- hsync. Can they be used on the Amiga without any additional
- separator circuitry?
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Anders Skelander
