- Does anyone have a list of which 1084(-S)/1950(60)s, are good?
- I have heard many times that Commodore doesn't make their monitors, they only
- OEM them from major TV/monitor manufacturers. Many people complain that
- their A1084/A1084S monitors die young and start making whirrs/poping sounds
- as soon as they start being used. I have a A1084S-D1 which was bought a bit
- over a year ago. To date it has NOT done anything out of the ordinary and
- I am quite pleased with it.. I have also seen A1084S monitors that were
- very different that mine, a friend has one that is missing over half the
- controls and knobs (mine has knobs in the back that can 'scrunch' the screen
- and reposition it vertically, a nifty feature for all those PALBOOTED
- EuroDemos)
