  20. Hmm. No such problems with my A2000 and SupraFaxModem. Hold on,
  21. your A500 should have a earthed plug doesn't it? Have you also
  22. plugged it in a earthed outlet? Your symptoms look like being
  23. an earthing problem. Maybe the system isn't earthed properly and
  24. there is a voltage on the earthing. (This also happens, and can
  25. be quite destructive to equipment)
