- Hmm. No such problems with my A2000 and SupraFaxModem. Hold on,
- your A500 should have a earthed plug doesn't it? Have you also
- plugged it in a earthed outlet? Your symptoms look like being
- an earthing problem. Maybe the system isn't earthed properly and
- there is a voltage on the earthing. (This also happens, and can
- be quite destructive to equipment)
