  13. I've been told that on some A2000's (old motherboards) there was some
  14. fix/hack that sometimes had to be done.  The problem was about bus
  15. noise or something, which sometimes interfered with
  16. controllers/accelerators,etc. Some capacitor had to be unsoldered and the
  17. connections shorted to get rid of this bus noise.  My question is,
  18. does anyone know if this is true, and if so, what do I have to do?
  19.  
  20. Secondly,  I've noticed that PIN 24 on a chip (VAA8751) isn't sitting
  21. in the socket.  Was this done by mistake, or is it supposed to be that
  22. way? The chip (U800 on the board) is labeled as follows :
