- I've been told that on some A2000's (old motherboards) there was some
- fix/hack that sometimes had to be done. The problem was about bus
- noise or something, which sometimes interfered with
- controllers/accelerators,etc. Some capacitor had to be unsoldered and the
- connections shorted to get rid of this bus noise. My question is,
- does anyone know if this is true, and if so, what do I have to do?
-
- Secondly, I've noticed that PIN 24 on a chip (VAA8751) isn't sitting
- in the socket. Was this done by mistake, or is it supposed to be that
- way? The chip (U800 on the board) is labeled as follows :
-
- LIA3420
- Commodore
- 318075-02
- VA8751
-
- Thanks, any info appreciated.
