  11.   This isn't really a major problem, just a minor annoyance...

  13.   Whenever I power cycle my modem, my Amiga (500) reboots. This is mildly
  14. annoying because I don't need to leave my modem on all the time, but I have
  15. to or else reboot.

  17.   I do a lot of hardware hacking on my machine, and the motherboard has
  18. smoked a few times for various reasons, so perhaps this is a by product of
  19. that... but according to the Hardware Reference manual, there is a Computer
  20. Reset line on the serial port...

  22.   Is there some way I could tie that line off, up, or down, so that this
  23. wouldn't happen? The modem is the only serial product I use, and I see no
  24. need for the modem to be able to reset my Amiga, this line shouldn't be
  25. essential is it?

  27.   My system is an Amiga 500 in tower with Palomax MAX-125 HD card, LUCAS
  28. 020 card, a501 (1M chip, 4 megs 32 bit), 1084s, color dot matrix,
  29. supraFAXmodem v32 and hardware handshaking cable...
