  12. Darn those CBM engineers.  Why can't they do anything right!  I mean, that
  13. A4000 kludge!  It doesn't have 2 floppy drives!  They only have 1 included.
  14. What kind of company only includes 1 floppy drive.  I can get a 486 clone
  15. with 2 3.5" drive and a 5.25" drive for less than that A4000.  And that stupid
  16. slow AGA chip.  Why didn't they give us accelerated 24 bit graphics at the
  17. same $3000 price tag?  I mean, come on.  Even Apple Quadras have 24 bit
  18. capability.  Why did CBM put in 150 watt power supplies instead of 160?  And
  19. how come I can't listen to 16 bit sampled MODS instead of the cheesy 8 bit.
  20. Sure I used to boast about the killer sounds that cheesy 8 bit Amiga produced
  21. compared to the Mac's output or the IBM's Soundblaster.  Why is CBM living
  22. in the stoneages?  AHHHH!!!

  24. Ok.  That's it.  I'll just start my own computer company and make the killer
  25. computer.  It'll have 48 bit graphics!  20 bit resolution audio!
  26. Forget 16 bits.  That's old.  Let's see, it'll have the 99 Mhz 040 since the
  27. 25 Mhz 040 is way too slow.  And then we'll put in our own set of 96 custom
  28. chips.  Each chip will handle each key on the keyboard so that ultra fast
  29. typers won't complain that the keyboard can't handle their blazing speed.  And
  30. then I'll have 99 meg flopticals instead of the 1.77 meg HD drives.  All this
  31. plus 1280x1024 screen resolution MINIMUM, FREE 21" monitor, and a THREE button
  32. mouse!  I'll even throw in a mouse pad!  The best part of this will be the
  33. price.  In order to compete with those darn clone makers, I'll have to price
  34. this so that it's not only competitive, but I'll anticipate their lowering of
  35. price and mark this machine at $1000 LIST.  That way dealers can discount it
  36. to $700.  Oh, almost forgot the FREE CD-ROM drive for those who purchase in
  37. the next 4 months.  Those who miss out will have to buy them at $50 each.
  38. I know that this will make people happy and I'll be the hit of the parties and
  39. everyone will love my company.  Complaints?  I'll just let them leave them on
  40. my personal answering machine.  They need something done tomorrow.  No
  41. problem.  My engineers can work 24 hours.  I hope developement of this machine
  42. doesn't take more than 3 months, or people will be upset.  Wouldn't want that.
