- You're right!
-
- Everyone else does this kind of thing, why can't C-A?
-
- Here's the warrentee that came with my 1991 Honda Civic DX:
-
- "In the event that Honda releases a new model of this vehicle you will
- receive a free upgrade. Car owners must send in their registration
- card so the new car can be send via Federal Express to your house. The
- old car must be returned via next-day air. (Car owner is responsible
- for paying postage.)"
-
- Ok, they COULD pay the postage but how much can that really be when you
- compare it to the free upgrade I'm getting?
-
- I won't quote other warrentees and contracts I have here, but let me
- drop some names: My IBM XT was upgraded to a PS/2 for free; my Pee Wee
- Herman lunch box was exchanged for a TMNT lunch box; and NASA got The
- Space Shuttle Endevor as a free upgrade from the Challanger model.
-
- Bandes Dessinee is 100% correct.
-
- Tom
-
- P.S. If you haven't figured it out, I'm just kidding. By the way, the
- truth is that C-A has offered more upgrades (including a few that they
- weren't planning on) than any other computer company I know of.
