- Sounds like your characters were just fine as far as skill level is
- concerned. You also must consider some basic attributes like strength
- and mana, which are not based on skill level. (They increase when the
- skill level increases, but the base level is what's important.)

- Your inherent strength can go up about 900; same with mana and health
- (hit points). If your characters have less than 200 for each of these
- attributes, then you'll have a bit of struggle. (But that's the whole
- point of game....)
