- RK>- Land at the bottom of the canyon in a Harrier and you get teleported!
-
- In reference to BOP, I have managed to land on all 3 sizes of skyscrapers
- using the Harrier. <- a none too trivial feat - be assured!
- But barring one instance (which I have been unable to repeat) I have not
- been able to get a negative altitude reading while descending into the
- "so called" canyon (I say "so called" because someone in a previous post
- correctly noted that most often the canyons behaved like mountains!!)
- flying over them, even at alts in excess of 10,000 feet has more than
- occassionally resulted in a collision with the canyon wall !!?? <hmmmm>
-
- So my question is:.................. Whats the trick?
-
- Is there some correct approach angle/direction NSEW etc??
-
- While I'm at it, the save feature is equally screwed up, seems the
- only way I can save a campaign (and even this is tempermental) is on a
- copy of the original program disk - not just any blank formated disk,
- as it states in the docs. After about the 4th mission it refuses to
- save any more of, or even reload my last campaign!! and then to add
- insult to injury, it displays it's disproval by promptly crashing my
- machine. (Grrrrrrrrrr)
-
- .....AGAIN.... WHATS THE TRICK??????
-
- Is there some BOP version later than V0.01 that corrects these bugs?
- If no, EA better be working on these problems....
