- I just got the COOL library from ti.com, and now I have a problem.
- The file appears intact (I can read it with "more", etc.), but I
- can't get "tarsplit" or "gnutar" to split it. Since it is about
- 8.5 meg, I don't really like the idea of splitting it by hand.
-
- Gnutar says "gnutar: can't open tar.out : (3)bad file descriptor"
- when I try to use it. (In fact, it says that regardless of what
- options I feed it.)
-
- TarSplit just says "TarSplit: unknown linkflag".
-
- Has anyone else had this problem? (And before anyone asks, yes,
- I have un-tarred files before using tarsplit.)
-
- Barring that, is there some other tar splitter that I might have
- better luck with?
-
- Respond by e-mail please... TIA.
