- I assume this was to me, since I commented on something on this thread about a week ago.
- Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. One thing I'd like to know: in this case, we have
- a BBS game that duplicates a copywritten card game (or comes close). Have you been
- in contact with the original company (FBI or Steve Jackson Games, can't remember which)
- regarding this?
-
- I ask this because I have a similar project on the _way back_ burner -- a multi-payer
- multi-system version of _Illuminati_. I know this one is owned by SJGames, and hope
- to somehow get thier blessing for use of the rules etc. I understand from someone
- that they own the same BBS software, maybe that's an angle I can work on :-)
-
- About FBI (and waaaay off topic, so what :-) They are still in biz as recently as
- a year ago, and appeared to be expanding (the Illuminati games, for instance, have
- thier own newsletter now). If you have access to GEnie, you can email them as
- address "FBI" (sheesh, how original). The last FBICon in Scottsdale was swollen
- at around 25 people, I understand (small in-joke).
