- The combination of DNet and niftyterm, both of which can be found in
- wuarchive:/systems/amiga/comms/network/dnet, satisfies all my needs.
- It's really slick. Multiple sessions and background file transfers is
- very nice. The only drawback is that it's quite slow, but I should be
- getting a v.32bis modem in a couple of months, which will help greatly.
-
- Question for those using DNet and niftyterm:
-
- When I use the -s option of dnet, as in "-snifty" (where nifty is a
- hard link to niftyterm sitting in the same directory as fterm), dnet
- reports "Unable to connect". But then when I run nifty myself, it
- works fine. Without the -s option, dnet starts the fterm successfully.
- So what's the problem?
-
- Thanks,
