- Excuse me for asking...what system are you on and what version of Kermit...
- The kemit I use on the mainframe's allow me to first use the command "kermit"
- then when in kermit I change to the directory where the files are, set up the
- packet size, file type (binary or text), Block-Check (in the latest version)
- and then put the mainframe in Server mode by giving kermit the command "server".
-
- When in VLT I set up VLT to be in the mode for the mainframe being in server
- and use XPRKermit to set the file size to 1000, the Block-Check to the same
- as what I set on the mainframe, the file type to the same and then issue a
- receive (which works the same as a get when using FTP). Also you can set
- the default directory in VLT under the menu bar VLT "Change directory" or by
- using "right Amiga - D".
