  19. I had that happen.. (and many other strange things), for about 3 days after
  20. I bought mine.        I eventually cured it with an AT&F2&W. I did tweek a
  21. couple of other things I don't quite recall presently(!).. one was S11. You
  22. want to head for a reliable connection. Set your Amiga Serial Preferences
  23. at 19200 RTS/CTS. Lock the Baudrate with TrapDoor if you are using it. You
  24. want the modem to give as much verbose info as it can.. When TrapDoor
  25. connects I'll get something like

  27. CONNECT: 2400                           CONNECT 14400

  29. PROTOCOL: NONE            OR!           PROTOCOL: LAP-M

  31. CARRIER: 2400                           CARRIER: 14400

  35.      Maybe you've got it already. It's not a bad manual.. actually the way
  36. it sounds like you want to get the connect match the carrier. I used to see
  37. 19200 when it was really 2400. I knew something was sort'a screwy. Not sure
  38. what may really be happening with yours as I don't know who you'd be
  39. connecting to...
