- Hello:
-
- Is there anybody out there that has experience with AMAX II+ and MIDI?
- I'm trying to get a feel for how it works, and how the compatibility
- issues are going.
-
- I've called ReadySoft, developers of AMAX, and they've said only a
- couple of specific things. AMAX was specifically tested with Finale,
- Performer, and Vision. At present, there is a bug that causes Easy
- Vision (or is it EZ Vision?) to have problems.
-
- ReadySoft has also received a customer call about some problems with
- Band-In-A-Box...has anyone here tried Band-In-A-Box? Any patch editor
- or librarian software, like Galaxy?
-
- Nick Rothwell, on rec.music.synth, describes his Mac-based operating
- environment as including: Midi Time Piece, MAX, Midi Manager, OMS,
- and Performer, along with a bunch of other stuff. Has anyone tried a
- system as elaborate?
-
- Finally (!)...after I've seen firsthand how Dr. T's Copyist DTP is
- pretty good, but "not quite there", does anyone know if Finale
- (or perhaps another Mac package) can fill in the gaps by providing
- professional-quality notation?
-
- I know this is a bunch of annoying questions, but all comments are
- greatly appreciated...
