- Neither(?). Do you have the Type 1 typefaces that you used in your document
- in your PSfonts: directory? If not, and you don't want to buy them from Adobe:
-
- 1) Use CMD to re-route your printer's output (i.e. parallel port) to a temporary
- directory or PSfonts:. Check your system software manual for details.
- 2) Use SWDownload to download your Nimbus Q typefaces to the temporary
- directory.
- 3) Rename the output typefaces to their proper Postscript names.
- 4) Move them to PSfonts:.
-
- Voila! You now have Postscript typefaces built into your Post v1.7 interpreter!
-
- If the above procedure doesn't work, then it COULD be that all your typefaces
- aren't in your SWOLfonts/ directory. Older (<1.3.2?) versions of Final Copy
- had trouble finding typefaces in directories other than SWOLfonts/, e.g.
- SWOLfonts/Cheltenham/, so ALL your typefaces had to be lumped together in
- SWOLfonts/. If you're using v1.3.2, you should not be experiencing this
- problem.
-
- If none of the above applies, it could be one of the few (~2%) the times that
- the generated Postscript file just isn't supposed to print--apparently, I've
- been told that Postscript was put together hurriedly and isn't perfect. If
- this is the case, simply reprint the document from Final Copy, and send it
- through Post.
