- I'll bet you have the correct maximum cylinder with this technique however
- cumbersome. Different manufacturers describe their drives with varying
- interpretations of what constitutes a megabyte: some say 1,000,000 and some
- mean 1,048,576 - there's no standard in the drive business; some also may
- further deceive you by quoting unformatted capacity which is much higher
- than formatted. The drive may have it's bad blocks written on a label
- affixed to the top of the drive - if this is blank, you may have a drive
- with no hard errors.
