- A while back on c.s.a I read about ADFS having a limit of 77 files per
- directory. Since I had no directory with more than about 50 files I
- never came across this limit. However, last night I was uuencoding and
- splitting an archive and accidently left the uucode split option at 200
- lines instead of changing it to 2000 lines. What I ended up with was a
- directory with 102 files in it, over 80 of which were 12K chunks of
- uucode.
-
- Does anyone know how this could have happened, or did I just misunderstand
- something when this subject was originally discussed?
