  12. A while back on c.s.a I read about ADFS having a limit of 77 files per
  13. directory. Since I had no directory with more than about 50 files I 
  14. never came across this limit. However, last night I was uuencoding and
  15. splitting an archive and accidently left the uucode split option at 200
  16. lines instead of changing it to 2000 lines. What I ended up with was a
  17. directory with 102 files in it, over 80 of which were 12K chunks of
  18. uucode.

  20. Does anyone know how this could have happened, or did I just misunderstand
  21. something when this subject was originally discussed?
