- No point. Or to be precise no floating point :-).
-
- Anyway the idea of demos are to get away from the boredom of doing
- something pointfull. Hmm I was thinking of doing something a little more
- useful - but I will wait and see how the new A3010's sell - to see if it
- is worth my while [ :-) Anyone want a 256 colour - shadow of the beast
- style game but with proper gameplay? I've found a great graphics artist...
- now all I need to do is improve my coding skills :-) ].
-
- [THE FOLLOWING IS NOT MEANT TO BE OFFENSIVE - BUT MEANT TO WHIP SOME OF YOU
- CRUSTY OLD FOLKS INTO ACTION]
-
- Now as I have had no replies for this demo competition thing yet, I
- may have to start firing off letters to the authors of all posts I see on
- the acorn news groups. [Yes even you at Acorn!]
-
- Seeing as you Graham Toal, are the first to have replied in any form
- to my request - I am taking it that you will be in the demo competition :).
- Any language is legal - so don't shy away from the competition!
-
- C'MON LADS & LADIES! where is the fighting spirit!
- Lets see a bit of life and action from all you folks!
- Even if you are only just learning to program in basic, whether your age
- is a single digit or three - show some spirit! You've gotta be in it to
- win it! [the glory that is, I doubt if there will be a prize or anything].
-
- I know the lads at acorn are busy! But I will at least be expecting a
- demo entry from Roger Wilson [Yes thats right YOU! - you gave us basic
- and the assembler - now show us how to use 'em :-)].
-
- John "Translator" Kortink! where is your submission - c'mon man show us
- how good your assembler code can be!
-
- Simon Burrows! stop collecting and start contributing man! ;-).
-
- Phillip Banks, TMOTA, et al... show'em how us upside down folks do it!
-
- CMON FOLKS - NO EXCUSES ACCEPTED! ANY LANGUAGE - ANY IDEAS - GET CRACKING!
-
- [ WARNING: just 'cos I havent mentioned your name - doesnt mean I don't
- have my eyes on you! ]
-
- Regards, James.
