- A hint: Allow a click on the error box to make it go away.
- Or even (shock! horror!) put an "ok" button on it so we can click it to
- say "yes, I've read it and I don't really want it in the way for the next
- 4.97 seconds". (I can read errors like "Welcome to StrongEd" and ".$.%"
- pretty quickly you know)
-
- As a general rule, put in anything that will make life easier for the user,
- especially if it takes little or no work/code to do so.
-
- This rule works exceptionally well, except in the case where the author
- him/her-self is not bothered by awful things like the aforementioned error
- boxes, and so does not realise how much they bother users...
