- I had a similar selection of slightly random hardware-seeming faults
- after upgrading my 3b1 with vidpal and p5.1 upgrades. They unnerved
- me, but went away after I reseated all the chips and power supply leads
- and drive cables two or three times, and haven't returned since. (The
- hard drive once had a period of failing 1-2 minutes after booting -
- cured by disconnecting/reconnecting the *power* cable). Presumably
- an inevitable effect of machine ageing.
