- What I'm looking for is a very spartan, simple and straightforward text editor,
- preferably something like the PD MS-DOS TED editor, to run on our local Ultrix
- system. I've checked WUARCHIVE, and found nothing really suitable in their
- unix-c or comp.sources archives.
-
- Ideally, the editor would...
-
- Not be a line editor, vi or WordStar clone.
- Contain only the most basic functions: cut, paste, find, save, etc.
- Use standard arrow keys, etc.
- Support VT100/ansi terminal/keyboard/display.
- Be very small (under 16K? 32K?).
- Include ANSI standard/Sys V/Ultrix C or pascal source code.
-
- A homebrew program, perhaps written as an experiment or an assignment, would
- be great.
-
- Thanks,
- Hannibal
