  13.   I am currently investigating various Configuration Management Systems
  14. to implement in an environment with a lot of existing code and data.
  15. Aside from the supporting version control, release management, data sharing,
  16. access control, documentation production, and problem reporting,
  17. the main requirements of the system are:
  18.  
  19.     - easy to incorporate existing code with the CM product 
  20.           (also can bring in existing RCS and SCCS repostitories)
  21.  
  22.     - the smaller the initial software developer involvement
  23.           the better (transparent capabilites)
  24.  
  25.     - support for about 100 users
  26.  
  27.     - expandability (eventually to add program development tools)
  28.  
  29.     - a flexible configuration (no restriction on editors,
  30.       allows user configured forms, etc.)
  31.  
  32.  
  33. Any input regarding software to perform to these specifications
  34. would be greatly appreciated.
