  11. Just like the header says.  I could really use some kind of assistance
  12. to ease me into configuring KA9Q for ppp (first choice) or slip (second
  13. choice).  Please reply via email.  Copies of config.sys and/or
  14. autoexec.bat and autoexec.net would be greatly appreciated!

  16. Some pertinent data on my system config are:
  17.   386/33 w 8 Megs RAM
  18.   QEMM386 memory manager
  19.     loading drivers high and using stealth rom (ST:M)
  20.   DESQview/X will be used as an X-server upon connecting with my local
  21.     SUN system.
  22.    
  23. And some questions I have are:  What drivers are required for KA9Q to
  24. use ppp vs slip?  (I think I have them all, but want to be sure!)  Can I
  25. load KA9Q without having an active ppp/slip connection so I can install
  26. my DESQview network manager software?  (DESQview looks for the network
  27. kernel to be loaded before it will allow installing network software.)
