- Just like the header says. I could really use some kind of assistance
- to ease me into configuring KA9Q for ppp (first choice) or slip (second
- choice). Please reply via email. Copies of config.sys and/or
- autoexec.bat and autoexec.net would be greatly appreciated!
-
- Some pertinent data on my system config are:
- 386/33 w 8 Megs RAM
- QEMM386 memory manager
- loading drivers high and using stealth rom (ST:M)
- DESQview/X will be used as an X-server upon connecting with my local
- SUN system.
-
- And some questions I have are: What drivers are required for KA9Q to
- use ppp vs slip? (I think I have them all, but want to be sure!) Can I
- load KA9Q without having an active ppp/slip connection so I can install
- my DESQview network manager software? (DESQview looks for the network
- kernel to be loaded before it will allow installing network software.)
- Thanks!
